So, what does being an Engagement Manager involve?
My job is all about creating and delivering content – I get to visit different schools we partner with and run engaging outreach workshops on behalf of our employer partners. It’s a chance to introduce students to industries or opportunities they might not have come across before – it’s really exciting being the one to open these pathways to them.
I also work on our bigger events, where I help shape content and deliver sessions, working alongside my team and our amazing clients. These are super fun as they’re a real team effort and the students on the programmes gain so much from the experience.

What made you want to work for Visionpath?
I strongly believe anyone has the potential to be successful. Unfortunately, not everyone has the same support to help them be successful – that’s where Visionpath come in. We’re working to make sure young people from all backgrounds have the support they need to get to where they want to go, which means a lot to me. I think it’s important we keep pushing for equal opportunities and more diverse workplaces – that’s why I’m so proud to work for this company.
What's the best part of your job?
The most satisfying part for me is seeing the students so excited about their future. I know it sounds cliché, but I’ve seen eyes quite literally light up when they hear about a new industry or job role they’d never considered before – suddenly they have a newfound interest and career they want to pursue. It’s super rewarding to feel as though you’ve helped students find their passion, interest, or simply given them options that they didn’t think would be possible for them.
Why do you think businesses are mad to miss out on socially diverse talent?
Statistics show a more diverse workforce brings better results, so why wouldn’t you strive for diversity? Not only that, but it can also help businesses improve employee wellbeing because promoting diversity often in turn positively impacts equality, inclusion and general feelings of respect. This helps retain talent, which is also a huge bonus!

What advice would you give your 18-year-old self?
If you believe you can do something, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. Success is rarely just handed out – it comes with hard work and self-belief. The more you put yourself out there, the more likely you are to be successful.
What do you love to do outside of work?
I love being active, so I enjoy going to the gym, running, and going for dog walks. I also spend a lot of time with my partner and family doing activities in London and trying new restaurants – I’m a huge foodie. I also do children’s entertainment at the weekends for princess-themed birthday parties, so I spend a lot of my time dressed as a princess!
